Contact inquiries
When you send the contact form, Pilgrim Pets receives the name, email address, consent choice, and message you provide so Sarah can respond. The site sends that information through Resend to the Pilgrim Pets email inbox; the website does not save contact-form messages in its database. Messages may remain with those email providers under their retention policies.
Service-area checks
An address entered into the service-area checker is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service to estimate distance from ZIP code 01089. Pilgrim Pets does not save that address in its website database, although the geocoding and hosting providers may process technical logs under their own policies. The result is only a distance estimate, not a booking confirmation.
Client payments
For an agreed service, Sarah may create a payment request containing a client name, email, service description, amount, expiration date, and status. Those details and a Stripe payment identifier are stored in the Pilgrim Pets database. Stripe processes the card form and may send a receipt; Pilgrim Pets does not receive or store full card numbers.
Administration and security
The private administration area uses an essential, HTTP-only session cookie so an authorized administrator can manage availability and payment requests. Like most websites, the hosting environment may keep limited security and request logs. Pilgrim Pets uses reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Use, sharing, and retention
Information is used to answer requests, coordinate services, process payments, prevent abuse, and meet recordkeeping obligations. It is shared only with service providers needed for those purposes, or when required by law, and is not sold. Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for service, accounting, security, and legal purposes.
Your choices
You can ask Sarah to correct or delete information you submitted, subject to records Pilgrim Pets must retain for payment, tax, dispute, or legal reasons. Use the contact page to make a privacy request.
